Our history

It all started in the 19th century : The Roumier family owned 1,50 hectares of vines in the village called “Les Berthiers”. In 1905, Berthe Roumier get married with Ernest Seguin and bought some vines in the village “Le Bouchot.

Then the size of the Domain increased with a diversification of its “terroirs : Limestone, Kimmeridgian Marls and Flint. Nowadays, the specificity of our wines comes from this diversification which brings more complexity and finesse.

Raymond Seguin and, after him, his son Hervé Seguin have continued the family work by expanding step by step the size of the vineyard, increasing progressively from 1,50 hectare to 12 hectares, exclusively planted of Sauvignon grapes and “Pouilly Fumé AOC”. In 2000, Philippe Seguin (sixth generation) came back in Pouilly to work in the familial Domain, which progressively expanded from 12 to 20 hectares nowadays. The philosophy of our Domain is unchanged : to do our best to respect the differences of the terroirs and sublimate the complexity of our wines.

Our wine production, regularly honored in the press and wine guides, is also well exported around several countries : England, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Canada, Russia...

Our tasting cellar allows our individual customers to discover our wines at the family estate, 7 days a week.
